Section 1. Welcome to the Faculty of Communication Sciences.

A young, dynamic faculty which is international, interdisciplinary and innovative.

International: students, assistants and staff come from all over the world, and many of our Master's courses are taught in English.

Interdisciplinary: communication is a very rich and complex human reality which needs to be tackled from various viewpoints. Research and teaching in the faculty investigate and present it from all angles, both as concerns the relevant disciplines- from semiotics to linguistics, from history to psychology, from sociology to marketing, to technologies... and as concerns the environments and situations in which communication takes place, from mass to new media, from corporate to financial communication, from institutions to the sphere of health care, from training to tourism...

Innovative: the integration of different disciplinary approaches is one of the most innovative characteristics of the Faculty, but the teaching is no less so, making considerable use of digital technologies and facilitated by the excellent relationships between students and staff. The presence of three doctoral schools - in argumentation, in health communication and in eLearning - is another distinctive and innovative element of the Faculty.

On the site you can find much of the information you are looking for: anything else can be obtained directly by email, letter or telephone.

Nothing can replace meeting and direct experience, however.  In the hope of being able to meet you personally here in the Faculty, I wish you happy browsing!
