Mehdi Jazayeri insignito dell'ACM SIGSOFT Influential Educator Award
Il premio è considerato il più prestigioso riconoscimento per la formazione nel campo dell'ingegneria del software ed è attribuito annualmente a membri della comunità scientifica internazionale che si siano distinti in modo particolare per la loro attività di educatori. Il prof. Jazayeri - che ha dato una profonda impronta alla Facoltà di scienze informatiche dell'USI della quale è stato primo Decano - è stato premiato anche in virtù dell'innovativo curriculum formativo basato sull'apprendimento per progetti creato a Lugano.

ACM SIGSOFT Influential Educator Award conferred on Professor Mehdi Jazayeri
The prize is considered one of the most prestigious recognition in software engineering education and is presented annually to members of the international scientific community who have made significant impact on the field as educators. Professor Jazayeri, who left a clear mark on the Faculty of Informatics as its first Dean, received the award also for the innovative teaching curriculum he introduced in Lugano supporting the concept of project-based learning.
