Biography:
Benedetta Prario is teaching assistant and researcher at the Faculty of communication sciences (Institute of Media and Journalism) at the University of Lugano (Switzerland). In the year 2005-2006 she has been visiting assistant at the University of Stirling (UK) and at the University Bocconi of Milan (Italy). She is the author of Le trasformazioni dell´impresa televisiva verso l´era digitale, published by Lang Publishing Group (2005) and she has written the chapter Mobile TV and IPTV: Two New Forms of Television for the book Media Literacy edited by Donald Macedo and Shirley Steinberg and published by Lang Publishing Group (2007). She has written scientific articles published in international journals, too and/or has presented papers at the various international conferences in Montreal, Beijing Amsterdam, Stockholm and Lugano. Her research focuses on media strategy, particularly on digital television and its new forms like IPTV and Mobile TV.
