E-MHEM is a project aimed to the development of e-learnimg supports for courses in management for health organizations. All the outputs produced by the E-MHEM project (virtual course, virtual comunity, dynamic on-line simulation) will be designed to be used: 1) at university level, as a pedagogical support for Public Management and Health Management courses and Bologna master programs; 2) in Executive Masters in Health Economics and Management, as a tool to build a common starting framework (specially addressed to people not having a specific economic background) and as a new methodology within the traditional health management courses; 3) in continuing education of health managers and professionals, both by means of a specific virtual course and by means of a knowledge management/navigation platform (E-MHEM Virtual Community) that gathers all the case studies, examples of problems, and solutions developed during the E-MHEM project. A network of potential users has already been activated; 4) in training of lecturers and researchers, as a comprehensive support for updating contents, materials and methodologies.
