Biography:

Patrick Behr teaches Financial Intermediation within the Master in Finance. Since February 2011 he is Associate Professor of Finance at the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration in Rio de Janeiro. From 2005 to 2010 he was Assistant Professor of Finance at the Goethe University Frankfurt, where he also obtained his PhD. From 2006 till 2011 he taught Accounting within the Master of Management at USI, in 2006 and 2008 he was Visiting Professor of Finance at the Coppead Graduate School of Business in Rio de Janeiro, in 2007 visiting scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, in 2009 Senior Visiting Fellow at the National University of Singapore, and in 2010 visiting scholar at Boston College. His research interests lie in the fields of banking, corporate finance and microfinance. He has taught several finance and accounting classes at the undergraduate and graduate level at universities in Brazil, Germany, Singapore, and Switzerland. He has consulted for international companies and organizations and has published two books and several scientific articles.
