Biografia:
Ph.D., FCIPR, is a founding partner in Pristop, a communication management consultancy based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is Associate Professor for Public Relations at the University of Ljubljana. He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics. In 2000 he received a special award by the Public Relations Society of Slovenia, and in 2001 he was awarded the Alan Campbell-Johnson Medal for outstanding service to international public relations by the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations (of which he is a Fellow). Prof. Verčič is an active consultant serving major Slovenian and international corporations, government agencies and international organizations. Recent publications in English: The Global Public Relations Handbook (2003, with K. Sriramesh; Lawrence Erlbaum Associates), Public Relations and Communication Management in Europe (2004, with B. Van Ruler; Mouton de Gruyter), and Public Relations Metrix: Research and Evaluation (in print, with B. van Ruler and Ana Tkalac Verčič).
