Practicalities for the USI community

Bachelor and Master matriculation (enrollment)

Matriculation is the official record indicating the status of USI student, enabling to attend classes, take exams and obtain updated certificates.

Note: exchange students who are part of a mobility program remain enrolled in their home university and are therefore not required to enroll at USI.

To renew the enrollment in the Faculties of Communication Sciences, Economics, and Informatics, students are required to pay the semester tuition fee by the deadline indicated on the invoice and by validating the student ID card.

To validate the student ID card: insert the card in the device located in the atrium of the main building (on the wall, entering to the right). The device is in function Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm). The device will print the relevant data on the lower section of the ID card only when tuition for the  renewal of enrollment has been paid and confirmed.

The renewal of enrollment is possible two weeks before the start of the new semester.
