Euraxess

Euraxess is a pan-European initiative delivering information and support services to professional researchers. Created by the European Union and its Member States in 2008, it supports researcher mobility and career development, while enhancing scientific collaboration between Europe and the world, and its representatives come from the 200 centres located in 38 European countries.

Euraxess provides support to career researchers mainly through the four tools:

  • Euraxess Jobs, the database of open positions for researchers;
  • Euraxess Services, for personal counselling and information on mobility;
  • Euraxess Rights, the European Charter and the Code of Conduct for equal and fair opportunities in researcher recruitment;
  • Euraxess Links, the networking tool supporting researchers working outside of Europe who wish to connect or stay connected with Europe, thus strengthen European research and scientific cooperation with the world.

Euraxess is also the operational platform of Science4Refugees, a programme of the European Commission to support the reintegration of refugee researchers who are looking for a suitable job given the delicate global situation.
