Free of charge student conversation workshops in Italian: registration for the Spring Semester open
Institutional Communication Service
18 February 2026
Registration is now open for the free student-led Italian conversation workshops for the spring semester. This initiative—promoted by the Student Corporation in collaboration with the USI Laboratory of Modern Languages—offers an informal, participatory space for those wishing to practice Italian in small groups, improving fluency, confidence, and communication skills.
The workshops are led by a student moderator, selected by the USI Laboratory of Modern Languages, who is either a native speaker or at an advanced C2 level. During the sessions, general-interest topics and discussions will be addressed, providing an opportunity to share ideas and opinions, meet new people, and enhance conversational skills.
Each 60-minute workshop will be held twice a month throughout the spring semester (March to May), for a total of 5 hours on the Lugano Campus.
