Poeti del Novecento - the 2023 series

The 2023 Lugano readings organised by the Institute of Italian Studies of USI will once again be dedicated to poetry in the Italian language of the second half of the 20th century. This is an important tradition that continues to demonstrate great vitality and a considerable following in its public reception. The readings will be held from 9 October to 4 December at 6 pm in the West Campus Lugano Auditorium.

This year's readings will provide an insight into poets who have played a decisive role in the history of 20th-century literature, such as Gozzano, Montale, Pasolini, Sereni and Giudici, as well as highly original and interesting figures such as Bartolo Cattafi, Giovanni Orelli, Vivian Lamarque and Amelia Rosselli.
