The workshop marks the conclusion of the DEeP-GOV project, Digital Education Partnership for Effective and Sustainable Governance, which addresses global calls for inclusive, accountable, and effective governance in an interconnected world.

This initiative derives from a collaboration between the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and the African Local Government Academy (ALGA) of the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa) in Morocco and, it  is one of eight projects funded by swissuniversities through the CLOC DEAR MENA program.

The project emphasizes the value of digital learning to enhance governance competencies across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. The workshop will present the project results on inclusiveness’, accountability’s, and effectiveness’ challenges in MENA countries and at the international level. An interdisciplinary e-learning platform, a key project output, will be introduced, as a repository of material and networks for enhancing awareness on effective governance principles and on the potential of digitalisation in this field.
