Global Village 2024: an opportunity to discover USI's multiculturalism

On Thursday, 12 December 2024, from 4 pm, the West Campus Lugano Aula Magna will host Global Village 2024, an event organised by the AIESEC association and part of the Il mondo in USI initiative.

The Global Village celebrates diversity and fosters intercultural exchange, creating connections between young people with a global outlook and a shared positive energy.

The event will feature a variety of booths, each showcasing different cultures, traditional foods, crafts, and unique stories. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy artistic performances, taste dishes from around the world, and discover fascinating traditions.

This event will provide an open space for people to meet, share experiences, and build relationships in a celebratory and inclusive atmosphere, uniting individuals who are inspired by the richness of global cultures.

The event is open to the public. Entrance fee is 5.- CHF per person.

Il Mondo in USI is an initiative organised by the International Relations Service that began last year with a week dedicated to internationalism at USI. This year, the programme will continue by promoting initiatives that embody its values throughout the academic year.
