Global Village 2024: multiculturalism at USI

On Thursday, 12 December 2024, from 4 pm, the West Campus Lugano Aula Magna will host Global Village 2024, an event organised by the AIESEC association and part of the Il mondo in USI initiative.

The event is open to everyone and will feature numerous booths representing various regions of the world. Attendees can explore displays from the Balkan countries, North Africa, and Central Africa, as well as a booth hosted by the Arabian Association. Guests will have the opportunity to discover food, music, traditions, and customs from countries such as Greece, Ukraine, Brazil, the United States, Sri Lanka, China, Korea, and Thailand. The evening will be highlighted by artistic performances that showcase the different cultures and a DJ set featuring international music.

The entrance fee is 5.- CHF per person.

Il Mondo in USI is an initiative organised by the International Relations Service that began last year with a week dedicated to internationalism at USI. This year, the programme will continue by promoting initiatives that embody its values throughout the academic year.
