USI Marketing students to appear in TV program on retail strategies

Four students from USI’s Master in Marketing and Transformative Economy had the opportunity to participate in Radiotelevisione svizzera’s Patti Chiari  TV program, contributing to a comparative analysis of Lidl and Migros’ marketing and communication strategies. During the recording, students examined advertising materials, promotions, loyalty strategies, and branded gadgets from both supermarkets, discussing their differences and effectiveness, and weighting their opinions against experts from the show. This initiative allowed the students to engage with a real-world case, applying the skills gained in their Master’s program.

The episode "Migros vs. Lidl: The challenge" will air on March 21, 2025.
