On Tuesday, 25 March 2025, at 6 pm, Rachele Focardi, an expert in generational dynamics in the workplace, will deliver a public lecture titled "XYZ, Young Generations and the Future of Work." The event will take place in room 355 of the West Campus Lugano. This lecture is part of the Master in International Tourism programme and will be conducted in English.

For the first time in history, six different generations are working side by side within the same companies, ranging from young apprentices to the most senior members of the board of directors. However, effective communication between these generations—essential for the smooth operation of a company—faces numerous challenges. In this lesson, Rachele Focardi, one of the most authoritative voices on the subject, will analyse intergenerational dynamics in the workplace, focusing on young people and the tourism and fashion sectors. She will also explore the role of the younger generations, not only as workers but also as consumers, who are capable of redefining entire industries.

'"A better understanding of generational differences and dynamics" – emphasises Rachele Focardi – '"promotes collaboration, stimulates innovation and contributes to business and professional success."

Founder and CEO of XYZ@Work, Rachele Focardi has been recognised as a "Top LinkedIn Voice" and listed among the six most influential women in the new world of work (ICS Learn).
