Visiting alumni: focus on Investor Relations

Financial analysis and reporting, but most of all the ability to communicate transparently, cultivate close relationships and win the trust of key stakeholders. This is what it takes to undertake the challenging professional path in Investor Relations, and that emerged during the event Visiting alumni: focus on Investor Relations that took place on April, 3rd at West Campus at USI, promoted within the Master in European Studies in Investor Relations and Financial Communication (ESIR) in collaboration with the Career and Alumni Service at USI.

Our invited alumnae Tamara Hackl, CIRO (Director Investor Relations at Sandoz, MFC alumna), Maria Accarrino and Ilaria Picelli (Investor Relations Specialists at BPER Banca Group, ESIR alumnae), and Sara Zubiani (Investor Relations and Rating Management Analyst at Saipem, ESIR alumna) sparked interest and prompted questions from the audience by providing a vibrant picture of the IR profession, from crafting a long term equity story, to benchmarking peers, to preparing roadshows to meet with investors in the major financial centers.

Overall, the alumnae’s stories clearly illustrated the significance of the ESIR programme’s commitment to offer a truly interdisciplinary and multi-faceted curriculum to future professionals.
