Graduation ceremony for the Faculties of Lugano - June 2025

The graduation ceremony of Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) took place on Monday, 2 June 2025, at LAC, Lugano arte e cultura, bringing together all the Faculties of Lugano. In the presence of institutional and political authorities, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees were conferred on a total of 299 students of 33 different nationalities.

The event was attended by institutional and political authorities, with speeches delivered by Luisa Lambertini, Rector of USI; Massimo Zenari, Director of the Division of Culture and University Studies; and Michele Foletti, Mayor of Lugano.

The new graduates were awarded their Bachelor's (100), Master's (148) and Doctorate (51) degrees in the presence of the directors and coordinators of the study programmes.

Silvia Invrea, the head of USI Alumni Service, also spoke during the ceremony, which included musical interludes performed by Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana.
