Renewed funding for sustainability project bridging academic and higher vocational education in Graubünden

A new phase of the project "Innovative Networking of Sustainable Value Chains at the Interface between Agriculture and Hospitality" has secured funding from the Cantonal Higher Education Department (AHB) for 2025–2028. Under the scientific coordination of Professor Michael Gibbert, and with the active collaboration of Nele Langebraun, Giada Clory Mazzi and Alessandra Pozzan, the initiative brings together USI, EHL Passugg, and Plantahof — the Cantonal Agricultural Training Centre — to strengthen collaboration between academic research, hospitality education, and agricultural expertise. Building on the La Fontana Sustainable Innovation Lab launched in 2024, the project integrates SNSF-funded research with applied activities aimed at reinforcing sustainable value chains between agriculture and hospitality in the Canton of Graubünden.
