USI students visit the newsroom of TicinOnline and 20minuti

On Monday, May 8, a group of USI students visited the TicinOnline and 20 Minutes newsroom, as part of the training activities proposed by Prof. Gabriele Balbi within the Bachelor course in Mass Media Sociology. The students were guided by Gianni Giorgetti, director of the media outlet, Sal Feo, the editor-in-chief, and Priska Guerra, marketing manager. The students had the opportunity to visit the offices and to learn about the decision making and operational processes of one of the most important media companies in the region. Meeting with these media professionals was a great opportunity for students to get a better understanding of the role of media in society, of the future of printed press and on the challenges of digital media.
