Institutional Communication Service
8 June 2020
Unable to hold the traditional ceremony in the Aula Magna because of the restrictions due to the health emergency, for the first time, Università della Svizzera italiana has relied on digital technologies to announce the names of the new graduates with six interactive video-streaming events. A video-summary of the experience can be found at the bottom of this page.
In the three sessions held on 11, 12 and 13 May, the names of 61 Bachelor (8) and Master (53) graduates from 10 different nationalities in Economics were announced. Then, on 14, 15 and 18 May, the sessions dedicated to the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society were held, with the announcement of 58 Bachelor (34) and Master (24) graduates of 9 different nationalities.
Thanks to the peculiarity of this new format which divided the ceremony into several evenings, all of the graduates were able to share, from their homes, thoughts about their experience at USI and the future that awaits them.
