Mbougar Sarr wins the Choix Goncourt de la Suisse 2021

"La plus secrète mémoire des hommes" by Mbougar Sarr, wins the seventh Prix Choix Goncourt de la Suisse, after also winning the 119th edition of the Prix Goncourt in France. The winner, Mbougar Sarr, was announced last Thursday during the ceremony at the French Embassy in Bern.
It is the novel "La plus secrète mémoire des hommes" by Mbougar Sarr, published by Philippe Rey, to win the 2021 edition of the Choix Goncourt de la Suisse. The jury, made up of students from seven Swiss universities, including USI students of Dr Regina Bollhalder Mayer's Sectorial French course, revealed the winner's name last Thursday during a ceremony at the Résidence de France in Berne.
Sponsored by the Académie Goncourt in Paris, this prize is supported by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie - Europe de l'Ouest, Payot Libraire, the Association des membres de l'Ordre des Palmes académiques - Section de Suisse, and the Catherine Gide Foundation.
