Fable} Source | The fable and the iconotextual tradition: history, types, editions and Critical AI is the first workshop of the series Fable, Rebus, Emblem} Source, Material, Image (AY 2024-2025), including three meetings sponsored and hosted by the Institutes of Italian Studies and History and Theory of Art and Architecture (USI), the Alta Scuola in Media, Communication and Performance (Catholic University of Milan) and Cambridge Digital Humanities (University of Cambridge).

Fable} Source investigates the history and origins of the fable genre and allows its textual and visual sources to be analyzed through traditional tools from the history of art and literature, philology, and digital methodologies, such as Critical AI (Artificial Intelligence), TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) and IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework).
